on the afternoon of october 19th, a team led by xie zhicheng who was secretary and director of leading party group of provincial commission of economy and information investigated shenghong petrochemical group to make survey on the running conditions of industrial economy, accompanied by xiang xuelong, mayor of lianyungang, xu jiabao, deputy mayor of lianyungang, lǚ jie, director of municipal commission of economy and information, and jiang xingzhou, deputy secretary of party working committee of management committee of xuwei new district and deputy director of management committee of xuwei new district. xuan changwei, deputy general manager of shenghong petrochemical company and general manager of shenghong refining & chemical company and he zhaoming, director of executive office of shenghong petrochemical group received the investigation group and introduced the conditions of the enterprise.
the investigation team made an on-the-spot visit to the production site of sailboat petrochemical company and then came to the sailboat’s central control room, knowing in detail about the overall planning of the petrochemical industrial park and the production running conditions of the completed projects. xie zhicheng pointed out that the company should make the industry become bigger and stronger with insisting the thinking of "integration, enlargement, industrial park pattern, high standard, cleanness" in developing the industry and that the company should actively introduce the internationally first-class technologies and accelerate the formation of an industrial cluster with regional competitiveness. he also pointed out that the company should pay attention to the training of talents, build research and development platforms, improve the technical level of petrochemical industry, put emphasis on production safety, raise the awareness of environmental protection, and truly achieve a sustainable development.
xie zhicheng also had a cordial talk with frontline technicians in the central control room. he asked them about their work and life situations, expressing his concern for frontline staffs.
